Nicole Rackiewicz

Nicole is an intellectual property attorney at RKL who has been practicing with the firm since 2011. In her years of practice, Nicole has helped individuals as well as start-up, mid-market and large companies maintain a competitive advantage through securing patent, copyright and trademark protection both domestically and internationally. Her practice is focused on trademark clearance, prosecution and enforcement, opposition and cancellation proceedings and copyright prosecution and filing. Nicole is also involved in the preparation, filing and prosecution of plant patent applications, design patent applications and utility patent applications, specifically, in the biological, chemical and mechanical arts. Nicole works diligently tofoster relationships with her clients inviting open communication to safeguard their legal interests and to ensure that clients are adequately informed and advised about all matters relating to their intellectual property.
Nicole received her JD degree, with honors, from the University of Baltimore School of Law where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the School’s Intellectual Property Law Journal. She also holds a MS degree in Biotechnology from Georgetown University and a BS degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology, with honors, from Marymount University.
